Ocean State Jazz Connections is a summer program where high school musicians across the state connect together to learn, collaborate, and play jazz. It was started in 2025 by high school students from Rhode Island and supported by music teachers, mentors and jazz musicians.
Our Mission
OSJC brings together young musicians, mentors, and communities across Rhode Island to celebrate the unifying power of jazz. By fostering collaboration, mentorship, and shared experiences, we aim to build meaningful relationships that bridge generations, cultures, and communities through the art of jazz.
